Pan bread

panbread-browned_0805A quick & easy flat bread, versatile by adding optional spices

  • yeast free
  • gluten free
  • makes 8 x 4 ½” patties

 

mix together:
½ c plain yogurt
¼ c oil
½ c water
1 tsp salt or veggie salt

3 c home milled flour (if gluten free add 1 T psyllium husk & 1 T tapioca starch)
1 tsp crushed rosemary
1 T toasted black or white sesame seeds
optional additions:
roll ball in sesame seeds before pressing into patties
½ tsp hot chili pepper
1 T parmesan cheese
½ tsp coarse black pepper

panbread-patties_0804Mix all ingredients thoroughly, form 2”- 2 ½” balls
Press into yogurt lid to form patties (from 750 g yogurt container)
Brown on medium dry skillet, flip to brown both sides.

Best served warm!
Make patties ahead of time, store refrigerated stacked in a tupperware.
